Welcome to the Larkspur School of Felting Arts based in Boulder, CO
We are a group of dedicated felters, passionate about the wool arts. We have been teaching our craft for years and years, and have come together with our diverse and award winning skills to start a school of felting arts. Larkspur is a flower whose name means ‘joyful levity’. We do believe that our soul opens wide in joy in the creative process, it warms, and expands, and we become the best of who we are. Our wish is that all who come to our events find this joyful levity in the learning and sharing.
Our workshops, courses, festivals, and other events will welcome and encourage you to trust and let your own souls become playful and dance in the crafting.

2:00 - 4:30 - needle-felting sweet, simple seasonal pictures
August 27: wet felting rich pictorial wall hangings 10:00 - 3:00
August 28 - nuno felting for beginners - creating a scarf 10:00 - 3:00
nuno means cloth - we will be felting wool roving designs into silk gauze

spending days dyeing rainbows of wool in preparation for the upcoming events in wet, needle, and nuno felting. Dyeing wool is such a sensory play, exploring mixing and over-dyeing to see what amazing colors will come.
